Sword and Quill: The Scribe's Code

Content Policy

1. The Principle of True Craft (Anti-AI & Anti-Plagiarism)

Sword and Quill's mission is to provide a platform to encourage and cultivate human writing.

No AI-Generated Content

The use of Large Language Models (LLMs) to generate the bulk of your story is prohibited. Sword and Quill is a platform for human creativity, and we encourage all scribes to craft their tales through genuine effort.

Originality Only

Plagiarism is strictly against the laws of the Aarshnu Valley. You must own the rights to all work posted. Copying copyrighted material (books, movies, fan-fiction from other IPs) as your own work will result in a permanent ban and the loss of all earned accolades.

2. Prohibited Content (The Dark Magic)

While we encourage dark fantasy, thrillers, and gritty realism, certain topics are "Forbidden Magic" and have no place in our library.

Sexual Exploitation & Non-Consensual Acts

We have a zero-tolerance policy for stories depicting rape, sexual assault, or the sexual exploitation of any person.

Hate Speech

Stories that promote hate or violence against individuals or groups based on race, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or gender are prohibited.

Glorification of Self-Harm

Themes of mental health are permitted, but the instructional glorification of self-harm is forbidden.

3. The Rune System (Content Labeling)

Writers have a responsibility to their readers. If your story contains mature themes allowed by the policy (Graphic Violence, Profanity, Consensual Adult Themes), you must apply the appropriate Content Runes during the "Metadata Forge" process. Failure to label your work correctly will result in the story being moved to "Private" mode.

4. Fair Use & Pasting

We recognize that writers often move work from other processors such as Word. Pasting is permitted, but large "Data Dumps" may trigger a manual review before a quest is marked as "Successful" to ensure it aligns with our True Craft principle.
